From Volgograd to the world’s most influential stages, including G7 and G20 summits, Anna Stukkert has built her reputation as an “ultra connector”, bridging media, investment, fashion, and humanitarian values.
As CEO of Stukkert & Co. and Chief Media Strategy Officer at Stankevicius MGM, she has helped companies raise hundreds of millions through global visibility and strategic communication. Beyond business, she co-founded Tjoply Dom bei Anja, a heartfelt initiative supporting over 1,000 elderly people and refugees.
As the head of two global media organizations and the driving force behind an inspiring humanitarian initiative, Anna Stukkert not only shapes corporate identity but also defines personal style as a statement of life. For Anna, style is more than appearance – it is the language of presence, strength, and compassion.

HARPER’S BAZAAR: As an “ultra connector” in Europe now expanding into Asia, what makes you confident that East Asia and the Asia-Pacific region are the next potential markets?
ANNA STUKKERT: East Asia and the Asia-Pacific region are not just emerging markets, they are the epicenter of the global future. This is where innovation, culture, fashion, investment, and technology converge and evolve. Vietnam holds a truly unique position in this space: it is a country with a young, ambitious population, tremendous economic potential, and rich cultural heritage.
I chose Vietnam with intention. Its vibrant energy, sense of style, and drive for innovation align perfectly with my own values as a global connector and media strategist. There is a real momentum for transformation here. I am honored to collaborate with Harper’s Bazaar Vietnam, a publication that represents the strength, beauty, and progressive spirit of Vietnamese women.
While my recent project included designers from Malaysia, reflecting the broader Asian context -Vietnam, in my view, is becoming a new magnet for international investors, cultural pioneers, and the fashion world at large. Asia is rising, and Vietnam is at the heart of that rise.

HARPER’S BAZAAR: You’ve collaborated with influential figures such as Queen Ayla Aldjufrie to promote the role of women in investment. In your view, what are the biggest challenges women still face in this field?
ANNA STUKKERT: Queen Ayla Aldjufrie has been my close friend and inspiring partner since 2020. She is not only a royal figure in Jakarta, but also a visionary woman, a devoted mother, and a respected leader in both public and private sectors. The honor and warmth with which she received me in Indonesia touched me deeply and left a lasting impact.
Her strength, grace, and commitment to uplifting others, especially women have shaped much of my own work. In many parts of Asia, women from underprivileged backgrounds often struggle to believe in themselves or find a support system. Our partnership is built on the belief that every woman has the strength within her to succeed. Together, we are creating a global movement that unites women and reminds them of their potential.
I truly believe that women are profoundly multifaceted and powerful. One of my life’s missions is to lead by example. I am just a girl from a regular city in Russia, from Volgograd who dared to dream. I became a mother of many children, built my own business, stayed socially active, and continue to grow. Everything is possible. Absolutely everything.

HARPER’S BAZAAR: Tjoply Dom bei Anja, the humanitarian initiative you co-founded, has supported over 1,000 elderly people and Ukrainian refugees. What inspired you to dedicate yourself to this humanitarian work?
ANNA STUKKERT: The idea for Tjoply Dom bei Anja came from a very personal place. In 2018, I lost both of my parents, and that loss left a deep emptiness in my life. I miss their presence, their love, their support, especially the maternal warmth and fatherly guidance. Living far from family, with only my husband and children by my side, I longed for that connection. This initiative became my way of staying close to the memory of my parents by giving love to those who need it most.
My husband, who works with elderly people, often helps those who are sick, disabled, or alone. One day he told me, “Anja, you organize amazing events but always for businesspeople. Why not create something meaningful for the elderly? That could be your true contribution.” And he was right.
At first, I was hesitant. I was young and full of energy, and I felt unsure around those whose bodies were failing them. But everything changed when I saw their joy. These people taught me how to truly live, not by days or months, but by moments. They showed me that life is worth celebrating despite illness, poverty, or hardship. They meet you with pure, unconditional joy – no expectations, no hidden agendas. Just human connection.
This experience has become a beautiful and essential part of my life. I am grateful to them. They taught me how to appreciate the poetry of a shared moment, the magic of singing or dancing even in pain. They remind me every day: as long as you’re alive, anything is possible.

HARPER’S BAZAAR: Fashion is clearly a strong part of your identity. How would you describe your personal style, and what role does fashion play in how you present yourself as a leader and connector?
ANNA STUKKERT: Fashion plays a major role in how I express myself, not just as a woman, but as a leader, a communicator, and a connector. Once, a lord from the British royal family told me something I never forgot: “It doesn’t matter how much money you have or what your title says. Two things define you – who stands behind you, and how you look.”
For me, appearance is energy. It’s how I greet the world. I would describe my style as elegant and comfortable, with a clear note of femininity and sensuality. Sometimes provocative, yes, but always intentional and authentic.
In business, how you present yourself can contribute up to 80% of your success. A great look brings confidence, clarity, and presence – whether it’s a high-stakes meeting or simply a good day. My mother used to say: “Throw away every house robe. Even at home, you should look like a queen.” And I’ve lived by that advice. Fashion isn’t vanity, it’s identity, it’s power, and it’s self-respect.

HARPER’S BAZAAR: How do you balance your roles as an investor, a social activist, and a fashion icon?
ANNA STUKKERT: For me, finding balance between all these roles feels natural. It might not fit the usual expectations, people often see investors as serious and reserved, fashion icons as carefree and image-focused, or mothers as devoted solely to family. But I believe in embracing all parts of who I am.
I’ve always admired Princess Diana. She was a rare example of a woman who combined social impact, elegance, emotional depth, and a refined sense of style. She showed the world that you can be powerful and graceful, kind and stylish, all at once. I believe that modern women no longer have to choose between roles, we are the ones redefining them. And that’s what I strive to live every day.

HARPER’S BAZAAR: In your opinion, what is the most important factor in building a sustainable personal brand in today’s world?
ANNA STUKKERT: The most important factor is visibility – intentional, elegant, and consistent visibility. A personal brand today is built through media presence, public appearances, social causes, authorship, and authentic communication.
As the CEO of a media agency, I work with clients on global campaigns and see firsthand how essential it is to have a brand that speaks clearly, without needing words in any country. Promotion is not about ego, it’s about impact. When you show up with purpose and authenticity, people respond. One meaningful action can inspire thousands. Don’t be afraid to stand out. Just go forward and lead.
HARPER’S BAZAAR: As Chief Media Strategy Officer at Stankevicius MGM, you’ve helped companies raise hundreds of millions of dollars. What do you believe is the most critical strategy in modern corporate communications?
ANNA STUKKERT: In addition to my role at Stankevicius MGM, I lead several media agencies, including Stukkert & Co. in Germany. Our core mission is to deliver strategic, high-impact, and professional promotion for our clients, both targeted and global.
The secret to attracting capital lies in smart positioning. When a company is well-promoted with consistent media visibility, speaking opportunities, strategic exposure, even Wikipedia recognition – it builds trust and authority. Cold leads become warm, and deals begin to close. In my experience, promotion is at least 50% of a company’s success.
If someone asked me what matters more – management or marketing, I’d say marketing. Without visibility, no strategy survives. Effective promotion is the engine that drives momentum.

HARPER’S BAZAAR: Could you elaborate about your long-term vision for connecting technology with global leadership?
ANNA STUKKERT: If we’re talking about technology, and especially artificial intelligence, it is already the key to solving major challenges, including those at a national and global scale.
At high-level government events I attend, such as G7, G20 summits, and presidential inaugurations – AI is always on the agenda. It’s a strategic tool that is reshaping diplomacy, governance, and economic policy.
Global leadership today can no longer exist without a strong understanding of innovation. My long-term vision is to build bridges between tech and power, ensuring that intelligent tools serve society, decision-makers, and humanity at large.

HARPER’S BAZAAR: When investing in startups, do you prioritize the founders or the market potential of the project?
ANNA STUKKERT: Startup investing is always high-risk – up to 80–90% of projects may fail. But it’s also one of the most high-reward sectors. Personally, I approach startups with caution, but many of my clients and partners are fully immersed in that world. For them, startups are more attractive than traditional investments like real estate.
Some prioritize the founder – their energy, experience, and resilience. Others focus on the market potential. Ideally, you need both. But above all, you need clarity on risk and the right people by your side.
HARPER’S BAZAAR: If you had to describe your career journey in three words, which words would you choose and why?
ANNA STUKKERT: My first phrase is: “It’s only the beginning.” This is not just about my career, it’s my life motto.
Second: “Nothing ages a woman like a wrinkle in her stockings.” It’s a quote from Coco Chanel and reminds us that beauty and elegance are powerful assets in any career.
Third: “If a woman hasn’t become stunning by the age of 30, she’s missed the point.” Marilyn Monroe said something like this, and while it may sound bold, it speaks to the importance of self-awareness and presence.
And if I may add a fourth: “There’s no such thing as too much promotion.” I stand by that in both business and life.
